Free-pass for US bomb route?
Brit Dems seem to have guts to pound Rice at Rome summit.
Let's check the shipping tags.
Brit Protests at US Weapons Flight
From BBC News | WED. JULY 26 -- British Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett has protested to the US about its use of a Scottish airport to transport bombs to Israel.
Amid the Lebanon crisis, Mrs Beckett said it seemed the US was not following the right procedures over arms flights. She said she was "not happy" and she had talked directly to US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice about it. The Lib Dems say reports of the bombs at Prestwick Airport suggest the US is taking the UK for granted.

'Serious fault'
Mrs Beckett was asked about the controversy after discussing the Middle East crisis with fellow foreign ministers in Rome. "We have already let the United States know that this is an issue that appears to be seriously at fault, and we will be making a formal protest if it appears that that is what has happened," she said.
Laser-guided bombs to Israel
Opposition parties have reacted angrily to a report in The Daily Telegraph newspaper that two chartered Airbus A310 cargo planes filled with GBU 28 laser-guided bombs landed at Prestwick Airport en-route to Israel from the US.
The Israelis have requested the munitions to attack bunkers being used by Hezbollah militants in Lebanon. The Liberal Democrats and Scottish National Party called for the UK government to respond.
Even before following the money, let's just simply follow the object and burn the bridge.
My biggest question is, "who is the manufacturer of these banker-buster bombs?" They ought to be a target to protest, next to administration-W.
The Brit "Lib-Dems" seem to have a quick thought and tougher guts than our "Dem-Libs". (Their terms, not mine.)
